** Volunteer Definition: Volunteers are workers who have been officially screened and approved as a hospice palliative care volunteer within a hospice palliative care program or service. Volunteers give freely of their time and can provide written evidence of their position from their supervisor, manager or board of directors. Volunteers must provide a letter of reference (fax, photocopy or scan) from the organization for which they volunteer.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that you must cancel your 2010 conference registration, the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association must receive written notice of cancellation by fax or email. Requests should be submitted by email or fax to: Linda Truglia | Fax 613-241-3986
Cancellation Requests Received:
- On or before September 24, 2010- Full refund minus a $75 administration fee
- September 24 to October 3rd, 2010- 50% refund minus a $75 administration fee
- On or after October 4, 2010- No refund
Please note that there is no charge for transferring a registration to another person.
If your registration fee was paid by credit card the credit card will be refunded. If your registration was paid by cheque or money order, you will receive a refund cheque in the mail.
Prior to September 3 2010, refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the request. All refund requests received after September 3, 2010 will be processed before December 3, 2010.
